... It's generally not a good sign when you think you've decided on a climax and you're actually writing it and then the doubts creep in again. **rubs eyes.** Mama Mia.... I am hopeless. It's times like this when I feel a frustrated roar coming on.
And while I try to decide what to do once and for all, here, have a weird and completely random scene idea.
Yesterday I smashed a finger in the fridge door. I was trying to hold it out so it wouldn't bump into anything and get hurt worse. Unfortunately, it was my left middle finger, so doing such made it look like I was giving the world the finger.
Of course, my mind then decided to wander and I ended up wondering how Autor would react if some rude student gave that gesture to him during a disagreement. I arrived at this amusing reply:
"That is childish and uncreative. You have just proven your inability to craft a worthy argument, since you have already run out of sensible things to say and have fallen back on that tasteless response. Although I don't want to give the impression that what you had to say was particularly sensible, either, because it actually wasn't."
**giggles.** I think you can expect that to turn up in a fic sometime. Autor's biting, snarky comments are so much fun to write.

Date: 2010-10-27 03:33 am (UTC)Ow! I hate smashing my fingers in doors... But LOL at looking like you're giving the world the finger, and how it leads to a seemingly random situation.
Oh, Autor. LOL. I could so imagine him saying that. He ends up being more amusing than Ahiru and Fakir without trying.

Date: 2010-10-27 04:05 am (UTC)Yes, it's so miserable. I don't know how come it keeps happening with the fridge, either. This was definitely the most painful one.
I do actually half-feel that it was worth the pain to get that hilarious comment. LOL.

I can hardly wait to find an occasion in a fic to use that quote.

Date: 2010-10-29 03:22 am (UTC)Owww! I smashed my right ring finger so hard it bled once, and inspecting it now, I see that I have a faint scar on it.
