I finally got around to doing something I've planned to do for a while: switch out a couple of my paranormal25 prompts that are similar to others on the list and grab some other, more different ones. I chose "EVP/DVP/RVP" to replace "Near-Death Experience" (Crisis Apparition will handle the near-death stuff) and "Shadow People" to replace "Ghost Hunt" (several prompts can carry ghost hunts). I already have vague plunnies for both.

On the EVP, I imagine Autor recording some of his music and later playing it back and discovering a ghostly message that has gotten onto the tape as well, and then he, Ahiru, and Fakir set out to solve the mystery that the message points towards.

On the Shadow People, I keep imagining either Malen or a friend of hers seeing Shadow People and being appropriately freaked out (they sound *scary*). She then contacts Autor and company for help.

I have three Writer's Choice prompts. One is "Crypt", which I'm using to write the underground crypt fic. One was "Castle", and I was using it with a fic that is likely abandoned now, as I've taken what I liked best from it and put it into the thriller fic. I can't remember if I picked a third. I might use "Black Agnes", but maybe it will scare me too much to even write it.

On the thriller fic, Fakir will likely not be helping the gang with any robberies. I can very easily work things so the first robbery is pulled off without him writing for it, and then he tries to save the person who the gang is trying to kill. After that is when he starts fighting against the gang. I have a scene in my mind where he manages to trick his guard for a few minutes and speak with someone else to get a message to the police. Either that, or he borrows the person's phone and calls the police, but has to break off the call shortly into it.

I think the fic could very easily end up 20 chapters now, maybe even more. I'm excited.

sorry that I still don't know about how Fakirs case would be handled if he actually took part in the robberies but I am really busy this week and a little bit frustrated

Ugh, I'm sorry you're getting frustrated. It is frustrating when one is that busy.

I still would like the info, although at this point if Fakir participates in any of them it will only be the first one, so I'm mainly wondering if he would still be charged, like by the government, even if the owner is nice and decides not to press charges against him. The news already went out that he's been kidnapped, so the police really should be looking for him as a victim. I think I'll bring Charon's detective friend back into the plot, mostly out of necessity, in chapter 12 or 13.

Oooh. Hearing an EVP in your own music recording is *creepy!* And it's one thing to hear it with something you've played, but even more scary is that it would mean that there's something in your own house (or school, or wherever he's playing it). o.o

I still say Shadow People aren't real! But it sure is a heart-stopping moment when you think you see one. XD

Hmm.... What was Black Agnes again? I remember you mentioning it before, but I can't remember quite what it was. XD

Awesome! I'm glad he won't be forced to actually help them with anything. Guess they got more than they bargained for. XD

Black Agnes is the killer statue.

They'll try to force him, but once he realizes they've lost track of his loved ones they'll have no further power in that direction.

...Hearing something played back on a tape you recorded that WASN'T around when you recorded it sounds scary. Autor would probably just be like "..." and tell the others, though. ...Or maybe they'd discover it together in the first place, LOL.

Yeep, Shadow People. They do sound scary. Imagine... You're just minding your own business, walking in a garden or something, or doing your homework, and you look up...

Yay Fakir not helping the crooks with anything! ^o^ I sure hope he doesn't get caught and punished by the gang! But yes, police contact is a very good thing~

Yes, that would be very creepy. You're right about Autor's reaction, though. LOL. I'm thinking he's alone when it happens and then he has the others listen later, but that could change.

**shudders.** And apparently they can actually come stand in front of you if you sit and wait for them after catching a glimpse.

I don't think Fakir is discovered fighting against them until the climax, but that could also change, especially if the police try to stop the second robbery. **hugs him.**

I'm thinking now that the first robbery will start in chapter 13, but I may show a bit of preliminary stuff at the end of chapter 12.
