Song Help?

... I am so geekily amused by my icon. I added each dot by hand in a separate frame, and I managed to get them each on the same line and with the same amount of space between them! Which is probably about the equivalent of the non-cooking-savvy person being excited over successfully boiling water, but what the heck.

Guys, I need a song. It needs to be a song on the same lines as Relient K's Which to Bury, Us or the Hatchet?, i.e., involving an argument between two people whose relationship is ambiguous. That is, the song is suitable for use as a friendship thing. (Also, both parties in the argument I need it for are guys, which may limit the song choices. It doesn't have to be sung by a guy, but I'd rather the lyrics were fitting for these two guys, i.e., no cheesiness.) Having a resolution would be squeeful, but it isn't necessary.

HOWEVER, what is necessary is that it must not sound anything like Relient K. It should be somehow ... more gentle on the ears? Flowing? I tried looking through the lyrics of Nightwish, Within Temptation, and Blackmore's Night, but I didn't turn up anything suitable.

Help?

EDIT: I think the problem is solved, but I would still love to hear suggestions, if you know of any such songs! There can never be too many.

Eeehh.. judgement call, but I think ye might like this even if ye don't use it. Have a listen to Alice Cooper's "Be With You a While". It is a love song, but it could be taken as a bestest buddy thing if you give it a chance. Don't be afraid to try the Coop'. He's not as.. whatever.. as ye might have been warned.

I actually have nothing against Alice Cooper. I don't know enough about him and have never heard anything particularly negative about him, haha. The extent of my knowledge is that he's a singer and there was a hilarious reference to him in an episode of the detective show Monk.

Thanks for the recommendation! I looked up the lyrics and they are lovely.
