I had a rather unpleasant dream the last time I was asleep. Some old guy was terribly amused by the Hamilton Burger plushie I made in real-life and took it to show some other people. But neither they nor he appreciated it and they treated it roughly. He brought it back to me with most of the hairpieces hanging by several threads. And he was still laughing, not thinking anything was wrong at all. I think it just amused him to no end that I love Hamilton. I was angry and told him how much the plushie meant to me and how hard I'd worked on it, and how long it would take me to repair the damage. And I slapped him.
I slap creeps a lot in my dreams, maybe because that's what I'd like to do to certain creeps in real-life and I hope I'd have the courage to do it if I meet any of them face-to-face.
I still need to develop pictures of my Hamilton plushie. Maybe the dream was partially an expression of my fears that when I do get the pictures developed and posted, people will laugh and not appreciate the plush. (And partially an expression of frustration over Hamilton fans being in the minority and me sometimes feeling like I'm looked down on for it.)
Fear over what people will think of the plushie is not the reason why I haven't developed the film, though. It's simply because of the rising cost of developing film. Ugh. It's hard to think of parting with money to pay for that when there's so many other things it could be used for (like DVDs).
This week, for instance, I totally must be able to buy at least a couple of the Perry DVD sets that Amazon has on sale. They're hardly ever such wonderful prices as $10.99 per set!

Date: 2013-01-09 04:01 am (UTC)Have you ever considered investing in a digital camera? You can get some of them really cheap nowadays, and considering the cost of film development, it might save you a lot of money in the long run.

We have a cheap digital camera my dad bought, but it's so cheap it doesn't seem to take very good pictures. And I'm still looking for the installation disc for it. **headdesk.** It got lost somewhere in the house because we rarely use the thing and I was so unimpressed with the low quality pictures that I deleted the program off of the laptop.

Date: 2013-01-09 08:18 am (UTC)The last bad dream I had, though, was before I left home and involved Weeping Angels. At this point, I'd probably feel worse with yours, surprising as it sounds. *hugs again*
But I did have a weird, amusing dream the other night, though. Somehow, Granada-verse Watson ended up in my town (I don't even know how), and I lent him my Tortuga (don't ask me what I was thinking, lending my car to someone who'd probably only seen one in his life before...). And he got a speeding ticket in it. And I'm standing there facepalming.
But $11 for a season set? Bargain.

Date: 2013-01-09 09:00 pm (UTC)Yeah, I can see that, maybe because mine could really happen, whereas Weeping Angels just don't exist. It's often hard for me to be as upset about dreams that I know could never happen. But then again, there have been exceptions to that, too.
LOL. Weird, amusing, and priceless.
Half-season set, actually. That's how CBS releases most of their shows. It makes buying them at regular times very aggravating, because I can usually buy whole season sets for the same price as CBS's half-seasons! But I want CBS's so bad.
In any case, though, season or half-season, definitely a bargain!
