Yay Build-a-Bear!

So I've been thoroughly enjoying my Build-a-Bear Twilight. The fur is so soft! And brushable hair is such fun. I made sure she was stuffed firm enough to stand but soft enough for cuddling. The wings make cuddling a little difficult, but we manage.
It's so cute that little hearts are put inside the plushies too. I tried to get Twilight's pushed near where a real heart would be. I had braced myself in case I would have to do goofy things to "get the heart started", as some people have reported in their experiences, but the girl at this Build-a-Bear just had me rub the heart to get it warm.
I can hardly wait to go back for Fluttershy. I joined their rewards program and they sent me a coupon for $5 off of a $25 and up purchase. Squeeee! That means I can get Flutter for $20.
Unless I spring for the voicebox and make her a talking Fluttershy. I'm not quite decided yet. I don't think it's the voice from the show, but the sayings are so cute and I love talking plush. And since I have a talking Twilight, perhaps I should have a talking Flutter, too, since she's my other favorite. It would push her price to $27 with the coupon's discount included, but it might be worth it.
We get up that way so seldom that I think I'd better get Flutter the first chance I get, possibly when we do more Christmas shopping if we're up there then. The coupon is good through the 21st of January, but I don't want to wait until the last minute.
As someone says on the Pony Arena forum, Ponies are like peanuts. You must have more. On the one hand, I really can't see myself spending money to buy the Build-a-Bear versions of Pinkie and especially Rainbow Dash. But on the other hand, the Build-a-Bear plushies are so cute and big and soft that they might win me over. I just might get Pinkie sometime. I like her better than Rainbow. But then I probably wouldn't want to leave Rainbow out and I'd end up with her, too.
Rarity and Applejack and maybe Celestia are supposed to come in 2014. I'm sure I'll get Rarity. We'll see about the others. I'm still waiting for the Funrise Celestia to appear.
Funrise has also made Vinyl Scratch/DJ Pon-3 and Cheerilee. I'm looking forward to them, especially Vinyl to have as a friend for my Octavia. I love the fanon idea that they're best friends. The only thing we know about them in canon is that they like different kinds of music, but that's pretty flimsy evidence that they couldn't be friends.
It would be crazy if Wal-Mart gets Vinyl and Cheerilee in before the Princess plushies. I'm really surprised that they don't have the Princess ones in yet. I thought all Wal-Marts would want to make sure that they had them in stock for Christmas. They were supposed to come out at all Wal-Marts in early November. In many Wal-Marts, they did. But mine is so slow, as always.
