More weird Once Upon a Time dreams....

So I dreamed my own opening for season 4? Or perhaps it was my own season 3B, as Rumpel was missing/dead.
They (and I'm not sure who all "they" was, except Emma, Hook, and Belle) were sailing on Hook's ship, going into a vague and watery land that has appeared in my dreams off and on. There, they seemed to find Rumpel alive, but with either partial or total amnesia. There seemed to be some plot of trying to get him to remember? I don't recall how that went. Then there was a scene of him talking to Belle. He seemed to remember by that point. (Or he had been faking amnesia all along, but didn't want to put Belle through the misery of thinking he didn't remember; I'm not sure which.) He was excited about some new power he'd found, but Belle was worried that it would only make him darker and hurt a lot of people.
It has no connection with the vague ideas I've had of making my own season 3B since I was so unsatisfied with the canon 3B; that would continue from the Christmas piece I wrote. I doubt I actually will write it, but it's kind of fun just to plot it out in my mind. Perhaps if a Once writer comes along whom I really respect and who'd be interested, I'd pass the ideas along to her or him and see what they would come up with.
My biggest worry about writing for Once is a fear that I don't "hear" the characters as well as some amazing writers do. I can only write for fandoms where I really click with the characters, so when I only feel that to a lesser extent, I worry it won't work so well. Plus, I have many ideas for lots of other shows that I want to write.

Date: 2014-07-05 09:45 am (UTC)My problem with 3B is less about the villain used and more about the way Rumpel and Belle were used. I am not a happy camper. Even when they supposedly give the fans what they want, the wedding, it has to be so completely spoiled by Rumpel lying to Belle with the fake dagger. That was just awful and it leaves a really bad taste in my mouth. I don't even know if I'll be on board for season 4.
