So I finally watched the Gotham episode. I decided it wasn't a good idea to watch it shortly before I go to bed, since sometimes I get really hyped up and can't sleep, so I just finished watching it now.

I'm glad I saw it. It was back to being the way it was when I loved it, so maybe they won't get really gross like that again. I'll stay on guard, though, at least since Fish is still in that awful place.

Barbara Kean actually didn't make me want to punch her out. I was kind of amused by how easily she adapted to coming home and finding Selina and Ivy hanging out there. It's like she was thinking "Well, nothing is going to surprise me any more, so I'm just going to go with this." Her interaction with them was kind of cute and I'd like to see it continue.

Naturally she'd be upset and disappointed to come and find Jim kissing Leslie Thompkins, but hopefully she'll realize that she was the one who broke things off and Jim kept trying to talk to her and she wouldn't give him the time of day. Why shouldn't he move on?

Leslie's enthusiasm is a little irritating at times, but she's a really cute character overall and I love how she's being able to do what Barbara could not: draw Jim out enough to get him to let her into even the dangerous parts of his life.

It was fun to see the Flying Graysons at the visiting circus. I was surprised there were so many, though. I wonder what happened to all of them by the time Dick was born. Obviously there must have not been any left, since he went to live with Bruce Wayne after his parents' murders.

And Jerome ... oh gosh. What a creepy **bleep**. There's no real proof that he actually is the Joker; he could be another red herring. But he is certainly a disturbing character in any case. Very excellent acting.

Also? Bruce is awesome. So is Alfred. I'm so glad the show expanded to include them, since originally it was only going to be about Jim Gordon.

The stuff Fish said to her fellow prisoners about them all being a family was nice. She could almost make me like her. But the last time I almost softened towards her was when she told that girl that Falcone had killed her mother. Then her mother comes up to her later and exclaims that she's telling the girl stories. Bleh. So I don't trust her spiel about family now. Her standing on a guy for a platform didn't help my opinion, either. I wouldn't be surprised but what she just used all of them to get out of there. She's going for a meeting with the boss now, and I don't know but what she'll either make a break for it or negotiate her own release and forget everyone else.

I wish we knew more of Harvey Bullock's connections with her and why he still cares about her (especially after she tried to kill him).

Also? What happened to Butch is actually really sad. I want to believe he's just faking until the time is right that he can get away. But knowing that creepy Victor guy, I wouldn't be surprised but what his brainwashing is for real.

Lastly, Penguin's reaction to a heckler was more than a little extreme and disturbing and unsettling, but it's kind of adorable how much he loves his mother.

Overall, I'm very happy with the show again and next week's episode looks really good.
