Weird dreams strike yet again. This time, for the second time I dreamed of watching The Odd Man Affair episode with it being rather strikingly different from the actual, existing episode.

I have a complex backstory for Ecks that involves him having grown up in the organization and never having known anything else. My dream-version had him apparently not having grown up in it, as his mother wasn't part of it. She was also still alive after Ecks was killed and was distraught that her son was basically a spy and an assassin. (Can't blame her there.) Also, for some reason she seemed to blame Wye for Ecks' death and even seemed to think Wye had done it because Ecks had done something the organization couldn't allow? That was never cleared up in the dream. But Wye seemed devastated by Ecks' death, just as he was in the episode.

Ecks also had his civilian name revealed in the dream: Luther. Actually, I don't mind that as his name, and I'll need to have him and Wye take on undercover names if I write that fic where they, Napoleon, and Illya are all investigating one of those weird communities with all the rules.

Not sure what name to give Wye, though. I'll have to think about that for a while. I've pondered on it before and didn't come up with something I liked.

Also, I saw a bunch of Care Bears clips and two of the episodes. They were voice-altered, sped up instead of slowed down, but I wanted to see them so badly that I was willing to put up with that. At least they didn't sound like The Chipmunks. And I loved the show! It was adorably cute and Grumpy kept it from being too unbearably cheesy/corny. Grumpy is totally my favorite, as I expected he would be. He's pretty much everything I imagined he would be. Maybe I'll end up wanting to get the medium plush of him, if the Wal-Mart still has it. I'm torn because the medium plushies are only two dollars less than the large ones (due to the included DVDs, I imagine), so it seems more sensible to get the large ones, unless I especially want the DVDs. But I've only seen Grumpy in the medium size.

Then again, the big ones are so big I wonder if I'd have room for even one of them. LOL. I'm really only interested in the blue ones, so there's that.

I saw a clip of the powder blue one, Bedtime Bear, and I liked him too. It was cute to see him adapt to each bear's interests to help them in their get-ready-for-bed routines.

Regarding the purple bear I was originally interested in from the color, apparently that one's a girl. Both purple bears are girls. And the only reason I mention that is because I was just surprised and also embarrassed, since I identified the purple one as a boy in a previous post. There's really no way to tell the genders apart unless they speak. I believe it was probably Harmony Bear I saw, as she's a deeper purple. In personality, I honestly found her kind of annoying, so I don't know if I'd want a plush of her after all, unless it was just on aesthetic grounds. Cheer Bear was also pretty annoying. Her cheers were often not very cheery or helpful. LOL.

But it's nice to see the characters aren't all stereotypes of their symbols. Share Bear can be jealous and petty, Grumpy can be not-grumpy, etc. In all fairness I should say that Grumpy kind of annoyed me when he did something dumb in the second episode I watched, so it's always possible that I could end up liking all the characters, including the dark purple Harmony Bear, if I watch more.

It's really a shame the series only lasted a season. I'm skeptical as to whether the new one coming out will be as good as this one.

"I'm not a crazed gunman, I'm an assassin.<\i>" ...you knew it was coming<\s> That would suck, though, being torn up about a friend's death while said friend's mother blames you for it.

I had a Care Bear toy or two back in the day...I think it was a green baby bear with clovers. I was more into those Fairy Tail birds around the time, though...those things were awesome.

LOL. ;) And yes, poor dream-Wye.

Cool! There is a green one with clover. I think he's called Good Luck Bear. He's only a minor character in the show, but he has an Irish accent (of course) and I liked him. If I branch out to others besides the blue ones, I think I'd like to get him; I saw a plush of him at one of the Wal-Marts.

I see a lot of My Little Pony sellers also selling Fairy Tail birds. I wonder if they were made by Hasbro, too?
