Station Identification is hilarious for its TV show parodies. Leave It To Woodchuck (**snerk**). Then there was a Star Trek parody called Star Patrol that some ghosts acted out with Kirk, Bones, and Spock. Their Spock parody was called Mr. Spook. LOLOLOL. And then some nightmare material for me with a Gumby parody called Gumbo, which was a cross between Gumby and Rambo. Gumby creeps me the heck out as it is without giving him a machine gun. I think I echoed Ray's "Oh no!" But I laughed.

The Real Ghostbusters wasn't done with Star Trek parodies, either. The episode Not NASA-sarily So is one giant Star Trek parody from beginning to end. And they keep comparing Egon to Spock. LOL! Good comparison, really.

And then I'm reminded of the Spock Bear at Build-a-Bear. Even though I'm only a casual Star Trek fan at best, I find that bear kind of adorable and I actually have considered getting it. I like Leonard Nimoy quite a bit, so there's that.

Also, I watched more Turtles and finally tried Michelangelo's Birthday. That episode is several kinds of WTH in the last few minutes, but oddly enough, the "forgotten birthday" trope that I hate so much was actually handled much differently than I thought it was going to be. It ended up illustrating that if someone is too sensitive for a prank like that, it shouldn't be pulled on them. Mikey ended up feeling so bad that the others had seemed to forget something so important to him that he up and left. The others immediately realized they'd taken it too far and Leonardo admitted that he knew they shouldn't have. So I have to be impressed with that even though the episode was weird as heck in other ways.

LOL at those parodies. ...And the thought of Rambo Gumby is just wrong on so many levels. Oy.

And huh, that's good that the others realized they shouldn't have done that. But yikes, do I even want to know about the weird stuff?

Yes. LOL. The ghosts were pretty sadistic with their parodies.

Definitely! I've never seen that angle used before with the forgotten birthday trope, at least not that I remember. Usually it seems like they try to act like everything's okay because it was just a prank, no matter how bad the people feels about it. Ugh.

It was pretty weird. Shredder thought he had an anti-mutagen that would turn the Turtles back to regular Turtles, and that would have been a heck of a lot less disturbing. Instead, it turned three of them into ... I don't even know how to describe it. They got big and floated up near the ceiling. But it did get kind of angsty when Michelangelo thinks they're dead up there. And then Splinter rescues them with magic mothballs. ROTFLOL. To the show's credit, they actually acknowledge how bizarre that is right in the script.
