So the saga of The Real Ghostbusters DVD is a real WTH venture. I'm on the free trial of Prime and last week I bought Volume 2 like I wanted and sent for it with free two-day shipping. So of course, the logical thing is for it to take almost a week to get here. **rolls eyes.** The other stuff I got came in the correct amount of time! WTH?

Then, unlike the Wal-Mart version of Volume 2 which clearly had Adventures in Slime and Space, the Amazon copy does not. I don't know whether Wal-Mart released an exclusive version or what. What's even more maddening is that I would have bought it from Wal-Mart in the end despite the higher price, but by then they didn't have any. They'd just got rid of them a few days before. What's really weird is that the episodes on at least the first two volumes are in the proper order, except for that one. It should logically be on Volume 2! And yet, at least with the copy I have, it isn't. And no one seems to know why. They all just sit around whinging that the new releases aren't the same as the Time-Life ones, which is definitely annoying considering the number of episodes the Time-Life releases had, but there's other information that's important too. Why hasn't someone documented this problem with two versions of new release Volume 2?! And unless I can find a Wal-Mart-type copy again and prove it, I don't really have much grounds to do anything but complain and be confused.

I've been checking YouTube off and on in case someone put up a copy again for a few hours before Sony sees and pulls it, and last night I found a really horrible quality one, but I watched it anyway just to be able to see it once. It really wasn't as good as I was hoping for, unfortunately. I knew about the cracky plot twist of Slimer ending up as millions of Slimers, but I actually thought he fell into a cloning machine or something like that. LOL. What actually happened was that the machine was something to disintegrate ghosts instead of just humanely capturing them. That is seriously a WTH invention right there. So needlessly cruel! I'm glad they decided not to use something like that after the disaster in this episode. (At least, I assume they didn't?) But so Slimer actually ended up divided into all these different Slimers and that is seriously skin-crawling even though he is a ghost.

The best part of the episode was when he finally gets back together but has gone evil, but they were awfully vague on why it happened (the shock to his system), and it was also vague as to how what they did about it helped. He had grown huge because all the Slimers were eating things and got big, so reforming made him gigantic. LOL. And they blasted him back down to normal size, but I fail to see how that would get him switched back to his normal personality. I mean, does anyone else find logic in that? The shock to his system turned him bad, so shocking him even more will fix it!

The most classic thing was the King Kong parody where he grabs Janine and takes her to the Empire State Building. Peter comments, "Well, that will keep the gorillas away." **snerk.** Peter was really kind of a jerk throughout the episode, though. The whole mess was actually his fault, because he was terrorizing Slimer and got him scared and that caused him to flee into the machine while trying to escape. And then Peter kept wanting to flee the scene instead of staying to fix it. He is so my least favorite of the team....

On the disc, I watched the silly opera one and it wasn't as good as I'd hoped, either. The stuff with the Phantom of the Opera sounded like the funniest stuff, and the idiot who wrote the summary apparently had the episode wrong, as he didn't summon the Valkyries at all. He was annoyed with all the noise and decided to move out. He came carrying his luggage, spoke to the Ghostbusters about the noise, and departed. **snerk.**

But then I watched the one about Egon's uncle coming to visit and that was a good one again, so that was nice. I'm looking forward to seeing more of the disc. And Mom expressed interest in seeing Ghostbusters stuff after I showed her my favorite scenes from the first movie, so I'm thinking I may show her some of the episodes since I think that would go over better than the movie as a whole. Much more family-friendly, while still just as creepy.

I also saw this awesome board game based on the new movie, where you're in a hotel and trying to get all the ghosts out and it just keeps getting more and more haunted. You roll dice and that determines how many ghosts get into the different rooms and such. So much creepy fun! I'm going to see how much Wal-Mart has it for, and if they don't have it, I'll think about getting it on Amazon. I hardly ever buy board games or have time for them, but they are fun and I really like the sound of this one.

It's rather disconcerting to see an ad for the game Plants vs. Zombies out of the corner of your eye and think it says Pants vs. Zombies.

Ah, Neopets. I've been fond of that site for quite some time now. I think I joined in 2001 or 2002, and I was active for some time with my green Uni Laidly and later, a yellow Aisha EgyptianMarik. I slacked off after some time, however; I was just too busy. I tried to log in to my account some time later, however, and couldn't seem to get in. I thought my account had just been deleted.

I don't know why I didn't think of looking things up by Neopet instead of by my username. This February I got so nostalgic for the site that I tried to sign up again and get a Neopet with the same name and whatnot. But when I did, I wasn't allowed to because my old Neopet with that same name still existed. That was a surprise. So I finally got into my account, and oddly enough, I'm positive I got in with the username I'd tried and failed to get in with years before, when I thought it had been deleted.

Anyway, I still end up slacking off every few weeks, but I keep coming back this time. It's really nice to see that in so many ways, the site still has the simple yellow-and-white design from years before. There's new features and games, but the images and layout are largely the same. I love that.

And their updated version of Mutant Graveyard of Doom is so much better than the first version. This one is 3D, with really creepy music and detailed levels. And you have a Jack-O-Lantern candle that begins to go out if the bad guys walk into you. The walking tombstones also look much creepier. And the darn game inspired a lot of my Tutu cemetery fic Your Name is Angels Whispering. LOL.

I almost have my new drabble set ready, I think. **will be posting it pretty quick.**

I don't think I've mentioned, but I've finally had the chance to read some of the Full Moon manga. I have four volumes now, 3-5, and 7. And I adore it. X3 I like what that one person said, that the manga and the anime are really two different stories with the same characters. I'm extremely happy to report that, contrary to my initial impression from what I'd heard, Meroko has much, much character development! And while Izumi has the best anime voice he possibly could, his manga persona is so much better! And I'm even starting to like the Izumi/Meroko pairing. It's kinda twisted. XD And sweet.

I still like the anime, too, though. I dunno, it bugs me when I see people completely slamming the anime versions of things. -.-; The anime versions have good things too, even if they're not always as good as the manga! My favorite Full Moon episodes are still ones later on the series, when it got more serious.

And the fact that I like Ran seems to be loosening up my view on Kaoru. I think I may be getting to where I can finally forgive her for losing her temper and throwing things at people. XD I saw this wallscroll of her and Kenshin at Borders, and I thought it was really sweet and cute. X3

I've actually managed to get almost all of the Christmas requests done! I just need to do Lizzie's request of Kaito and Heiji. **sigh of relief.**

We went out shopping on Wednesday and Friday, and on Friday it was snowing most of the time we were out. It was lovely. X3

I like the fact that Troll dolls are becoming popular again. I've always had an obsession with those things. I think the multi-colored hair is what attracted me. ^^ That's probably why I like My Little Ponies, too.

As I do periodically, I got nostalgic for my old DOS computer games and tried and failed to find the discs of my Shareware copies. XD; They're mixed up somewhere with Dad's discs. Then I searched online and have managed to download almost all of them! Some of them have even been released online in full. So that's a treat. I love those games. I had Holiday Lemmings, Trolls, Capture the Flag, two Skunny games (Desert Raid and Kart), Pac-Man, Pako 2, Micro, Clyde's Adventure, Clyde's Revenge, The Last Knight.... I've found all but Micro, Pako 2, and The Last Knight, and Clyde's Adventure won't play right on this computer. But that's okay, because Clyde's Revenge is better, anyway.

EDIT: Completely forgot I wanted to mention about how beautiful the cemetery was last night! People came and lighted candles around the graves, and Dad and I took a walk to look around at it all. The snow was really deep, too, and I got it all in my boots. XD

It's amazing how bright little candles can be. We can see some of them from our house, and I see now that some burned all through the night. I think it's really neat that that's done. ^^ I just wish there was a way to honor the people who died so long ago that there doesn't seem to be anyone to light candles for them. The whole sight was melancholy, but perhaps especially the old and bare graves. I had originally thought that there might be a candle lighted in honor of everyone in the cemetery, but I didn't see anything like that. It seemed to be done on an individual basis.

One grave had candles in a heart shape, and another had a wreath with two red ones, then two big white ones on the grave, and little white ones all over in the snow. I wish I'd taken pictures.

Also, we saw three of the fluffy kittens when we came home from church and from delivering cards! Did I mention, there seems to be another cat family in our carport? XD These look like Ragdolls, or Birmin, and they're so adorable! I did get pictures of all four of them earlier in the month, and I hope to post them soon. ^^

Well, I've finally heard another Nightwish song besides Sleeping Sun. XD And I love it! **glomps Stacey.** Thank you! It sounds like a Marik song from Battle City and he's crying out to Rishid for help. Awww! Most of Nightwish's songs are so deep I get lost in them, though, and I can't figure out what the heck's being talked about. XD; **has been browsing through their lyrics several times now.**

And I found out who Lullacry is. They come from overseas, like Nightwish apparently does. **finds it amusing that both bands' lead singer is named Tanja.** Is that a common name over there?

We went out on Friday afternoon/evening and got my accounts set up at the bank. (Strangely, they stay open later on Fridays. You'd think that a bank would close early on Friday.) And later I wrote my first check. X3 I bought a Sherlock Holmes PC game at Wal-Mart. It plays out a lot like my Nancy Drew games, only it's meant for a slightly older audience, I'd assume. And what's especially kewl about it is that it involves Egyptian relics! It's called The Mystery of the Mummy. I haven't got very far in it yet, but at once point Holmes sees this mummy through a mirror and it growls at him, waving its arms. XD Holmes' response is completely calm, of course.

I started my fanfic where Mokuba falls into the Ishtars' custody! I haven't got very far yet, though. And I started drawing my pic for the ygo_siblings contest. XD I got the idea after playing with a plastic scythe at Wal-Mart. The initial pencil sketch part is almost done. ^^ Then I just havta ink and color it. I'll probably do that over the weekend.

Right now I'm doing an RP with Stacey that starts out basically like my story, but which will veer off in an entirely different direction! Mokuba will kinda flip out about Seto's apparent death. ;__; So saaaad! And Marik will try to get through to him without succeeding. Of course, Seto's the only one who will be able to break through to Mokuba's now-ice-encased heart.
