Shine Until Tomorrow is moving right along. I had some trouble with chapter six, but it's up now, and chapter seven's been started. I think I know approximately what will happen for the rest of the fic. X3
During my problems with chapter 6, I took a break and wrote a short KH fic that's been on my mind for a while, where Cloud first meets Sephiroth. I wanted to get it done when the plunnie expanded, plus to be able to work in the latest prompts at the KH is Love comm. My Kingdom100 claim was at last accepted, and that spurred the plunnie's growth. I think a lot of the Kingdom100 fics may be moment in time pieces, but not all of them, so I won't submit them all to one document like I'm doing with my Alister ficlits.
I dug out my Sonic X fic the other day to see what was going on with it and maybe continue it. I still like the plot, but I discovered I do not like my prose in it. I think I'll have to rewrite everything I currently have, minus some of the dialogue.
I'm kinda excited to tinker with it sometime, because I have the chance to create a Fang who is different from the old Fang in my fics. The general fan consensus is that he either speaks with a Texas or an Aussie accent, and I always wrote the former. I want to try something different, so this Fang will be an Aussie. And he probably will not have a sister, like Archie Comics created for him, but who knows. He'll be more of a lone wolf, but still have a bit of a mischievous streak.
I like the sister character, but pretty much nothing else about the Archie Comics version of Fang. He's so ... STUPID. I mean, yeah, antagonists have to be defeated, but Fang was defeated before he'd even ever done much. In the games he seems like he was created to be more formidable. The UK comics' Fang seems more like that, but I give a rousing thumbs-down to what I last knew of his fate (shrinking to a size beyond the human eye). The UK comic seems to do odd things like that. I didn't like what they recently did to Knuckles, either. It was such a cop-out.
