OH! ^O^

Well, I was able to see Dadnapped tonight. It's ... kind of a dumb movie, at least especially at the beginning, but the main villain humor is pretty dumb all the way through. But it's pretty much what I expected in that direction. It does have good points and overall is better than I expected. And of course, the best thing of all, it has George Newbern. *___* Oh, he was just awesome! ^O^ And! It was filmed about an hour away from me! I recognized so many of the locations, especially the library. I *love* that library! I've been in it so many times. And George was there! SQUEEEE!

Little problem: from my searches, it doesn't look like I can buy Dadnapped separately; it seems to only come in a two-pack with Hatching Pete. Honestly, if George wasn't in Dadnapped, I wouldn't have been interested in seeing it, and I'm really not interested in Hatching Pete. XD; However, I've heard a rumor that *it* was filmed *right here*, not an hour away. And if so, I would kind of like to see it just for that. So ... whatever works, I guess. **does want to own Dadnapped.**

And hmm.... According to Wikipedia, it describes the Sonic X version of Knuckles as not having a rivalry with Sonic so much as downright hating him. o.o; I never looked at it that way. Sonic X viewers, what's your opinion? Does the Sonic X Knuckles hate Sonic? I see him as high-strung, frustrated, maybe somewhat bitter, but not with actual hatred.

Sonic X is my favorite Sonic TV show because of how it tries to stick closer to the games than the other TV shows. However, I don't like Knuckles' extreme gullibility and the way that both he and Espio are sometimes made to look stupid just because they're more serious than some of the other characters. In many ways, I prefer game verse Sonic over everything. As it's put on a popular Sonic forum, I prefer Sonic "without all the extra baggage, thank you very much." But I'll happily take Sonic X, at least the second and third seasons. I really don't like season 1 very much at all. XD;

And someday I wanna finish that Sonic X fic I started.... I still wish I could remember what I was going to do with Cream. I remember the Mighty part of the plot, but I don't remember what Cream was supposed to have to do with anything. XD;

Jeff has made his intro in the fic! He is indeed a punk with leather and piercings, because the idea amused me too much.

This Jeff has problems with his uncle, too. ;___; Aaron Gordon believes that Jeff actually stole what he was framed for stealing. So ... there may be some h/c later on, with Jeff trying to help the others fight the double. And probably getting hurt. Then his uncle would come and maybe finally remember things as they really are while seeing Jeff laying there.

Gotta decide what the rest of chapter 4 is. Probably the double fully putting his plans into action. He's having way too much fun playing Drosselmeyer and controlling the characters in his world. ;___;

Scott and El need to meet Double Trouble too, but that probably won't be till later.

...

As the readers are probably aware, I go to great lengths to leave the guys' last names out of my fics. On the show, I believe Scott was the only one whose last name was spoken, and only then, just in the fifth season---which isn't canon for me anyway. Since I'm writing about the fictional versions, it feels more "fictional" to keep their last names unspoken.

But the Second Look fic requires last names. It just isn't possible to get around it. So I'm trying to keep a certain level of ambiguity by abbreviating the names. "Scott L." "Elliott K." etc.

But guess what?

Jeff ends up being "Jeff T.", or "Mr. T." according to his college teacher.

Mr. T.
