... Uh oh.
Jul. 26th, 2013 02:07 amSo I watched Christopher Cary's first appearance on The Rockford Files the other day. He's a rather nasty sort, but I found the character interesting due to certain unusual things he does about some of the situations they get into. I talked about it more on Tumblr. http://lucky-ladybugs-lovelies.tumblr.com/post/56245153227/ginger-is-a-rather-interesting-character-he
I've been kind of obsessed with the character since then. And while my Tumblr explanation is at least part of it, I'm afraid I know what the other, and possibly the main, part of it is.
This is the first time I've seen Chrissy in a substantial part in the late 1970's. The only other things I've seen him in from that era, Wonder Woman episodes, do not feature as much screentime for him or as forceful/memorable of a part. And ... while he has a boyish adorableness in the late 1960s and he's just so cute and huggable, he's grown up in the late 1970s and I find that immensely more attractive. It sounds so shallow, but I can't seem to help it or control it. (Yes, I notice I'm getting excited again just typing about it....)
So I discover once again just how much I am attracted to older men. It doesn't make sense to me, but it's obviously there and not about to go away any time soon. I have to accept it. But I do wish it would settle down, because I would really like to concentrate on writing something about Snakes Tolliver and not Ginger Townsend. And I would like to finish my Virginian chapter. And I would like to write something about Coley and Lafe.
**headdesk.**
