... Uh oh.

So I watched Christopher Cary's first appearance on The Rockford Files the other day. He's a rather nasty sort, but I found the character interesting due to certain unusual things he does about some of the situations they get into. I talked about it more on Tumblr. http://lucky-ladybugs-lovelies.tumblr.com/post/56245153227/ginger-is-a-rather-interesting-character-he
I've been kind of obsessed with the character since then. And while my Tumblr explanation is at least part of it, I'm afraid I know what the other, and possibly the main, part of it is.
This is the first time I've seen Chrissy in a substantial part in the late 1970's. The only other things I've seen him in from that era, Wonder Woman episodes, do not feature as much screentime for him or as forceful/memorable of a part. And ... while he has a boyish adorableness in the late 1960s and he's just so cute and huggable, he's grown up in the late 1970s and I find that immensely more attractive. It sounds so shallow, but I can't seem to help it or control it. (Yes, I notice I'm getting excited again just typing about it....)
So I discover once again just how much I am attracted to older men. It doesn't make sense to me, but it's obviously there and not about to go away any time soon. I have to accept it. But I do wish it would settle down, because I would really like to concentrate on writing something about Snakes Tolliver and not Ginger Townsend. And I would like to finish my Virginian chapter. And I would like to write something about Coley and Lafe.

It's definitely awesome that David is still with NCIS.

Date: 2013-07-26 06:23 pm (UTC)But I have some stuff here that I don't post on FF.net, and also I've started posting a few things on Tumblr. Here, they're under the Fanfiction tag under my Memories. On Tumblr, searching Fanfiction at my Lucky-Ladybugs-Lovelies account should bring them up. The Tumblr-exclusive stuff has been kind of strange so far, though. ;) Although everything I write seems to get a little strange eventually....
I hope you enjoy!

Date: 2013-07-26 06:42 pm (UTC)He and Mr. Waverly appear in one of my Wild Wild West time-travel stories, The Night of the Deadly Codename, although that's part three of a trilogy. Napoleon and Illya come into the action later on, in time for the climax. :)
