And that gave me a crack plunnie to really write it. I can't quite picture either of them on the British side, though, and I wanted to get them on opposing sides. Maybe Azazel ends up being a double agent/spy or something, hoping to get more money. XD;

And hmm... that possible story of the Revolutionary war thing makes me want to do some sort of follow-up to "Ghosts in the Night," with the renegade spirits coming back... X3

LOL. You know you're totally gonna have to draw the pic of them with whatever uniform/Revolutionary War outfits they're wearing, right? LOL.

I like that idea of Azazel as a double agent! Maybe Gunju would find out somehow and confront him, or maybe Azazel would eventually be responsible for something going horribly wrong with one of the battles he's fighting in? Oooh, and maybe he'd end up telling Azazel about it, and Azazel would realize that he'd been the one who'd helped it to happen, but maybe it's too late or too difficult to back out of whatever deal he's made? So many possibilities!

Somehow I'm not seeing Dalton being in the story, either. Maybe I'd find a place for him, but right now I'm thinking of it just being Azazel and Gunju.

That could work! That would be a way to get Dalton in there. He would probably be very shrewd and a bit underhanded, but I'm seeing him actually rather liking Azazel. Maybe at the end of the fic, he's even the one who pays to have the monument put up....

Oooh, yeah. **ponders on how it could happen.** ...Maybe at the end, Gunju would end up taking a bullet for Azazel, despite how furious he'd been? Ooh, maybe it would even be from his own side because they'd been attacking a British camp that Azazel could have been at, and had wanted to kill everyone? Or knew that there were traitors helping the British and wanted to stop it?

Yeah! Maybe he'd even feel a bit guilty for what he'd had a hand in doing to them?
