... Is there any reason why I should *want* to be bitten by any vampire? I like being alive, thank you very much.

And we are almost to August! Whoo! The last stretch of summer for me. Some trees around here are already beginning to turn yellow. It's wonderful, seeing the first signs of autumn. I can hardly wait for the temperatures to start dropping, too. 91 in the house today. .___.

I'm maybe a third or halfway done with chapter 5. So far I'm unsure of how many chapters this will be in the end. More than six; perhaps seven or eight....

Hear, hear... I certainly would not want to be bitten by one, but I would like to meet von Krolock, assuming it's post-musical repented von Krolock. XD;

Wow, the trees are already changing color? We have one of those small maple trees out front that has red leaves through spring and summer. Interestingly enough, they turn green when it gets close to fall, and then turn brown and fall. XD Right now, they're about halfway through the transition from red to green. X3 Ooh, my state is famous for having gorgeous leaves in the fall ^O^ **should get pics...** But bleah at it being 91 in the house! Yikes...!

Yay chapters!

XD

Anyone who answers the question in the affirmative and is serious must be at least a little off their rocker. XD;

Oooh, interesting. X3 Yay for it being mid-transition!

**hugs autumn pictures.** Indeed!

91 in the house = so wrong. That's what happens when it costs too much to run the A/C as much as it needs to go. XD;

This chapter might end with an Elliott scene, but I guess it really depends on how long the scene goes....

Alucard got some mentions, apparently...XD

X3

XD;

Ooh, yay Elliott scene! ^O^

I'd toyed with mentioning him unseriously, but when I really pictured myself with him going to bite me, I decided not to. XD;

**hugs Elliott.**

LOL. Being alive is much more fun than the alternative, yes. And I bet getting bitten hurts, too.

AUTUMN, YAY! Except that for some reason my school starts on the 17th o.0 That's half a month earlier than what I'm used to. Autumn is so pwetty... But it's been getting stranger and stranger up here. Last year the temperatures didn't really start dropping until November.

YAY HALFWAY DONE.

Totally! o.o The pain of being bitten (or more like, the subsequent transformation into a vampire) was graphically described in Twilight. **shudders.**

Bleh @ school starting on the 17th! Way too early! It used to not start till after Labor Day. -.- And that's odd about the temperatures, too. XD; Indian Summer much?

^O^

And I think when Jasper is telling his story he has to skip the transformation part .__. Whatever happen to "bitten at night, vampire by dawn"?

I know, right? Something to do with the "IB curriculum", but I don't know what they're expecting from starting so early! I hope we at least get summer vacation earlier than everyone else, or fits will be thrown.

LOL, yeah. Everyone was going all, "Global warming blaaaaah."

Well ... it's definitely more dramatic the Twilight way. XD And I suppose since Stephenie Meyer was overhauling everything else about vampires, she might as well make it complete.

Blech. -.-

Ugh, that evil global warming! I saw a song where a couple of guys were singing "If we had some global warming ..." and it was in favor of the thing. XD I'm not sure if they were serious or not, but they were supposedly from some organization called Minnesotans for Global Warming, so ... **shrugs.** Mostly I thought they were whining very silly. XD **hugs winter.**

This is true XD If something is worth doing, don't do it halfway!

Blah. -.-

LOL! They should suck it, 'cuz winter is fun! *also hugs winter*

LOL. Totally! I wonder if anyone realizes that even if you do get bitten and might get all sorts of awesome supernatural powers, you still wind up dead. Or undead, in this case. XD; I mean honestly, would anyone want to walk around with a dead body? XD; I started reading a vampire story at one point, which was written from the vampire's point of view. She started describing what it was like to actually be dead like that, and it was just horrible imagining something like that! No heartbeat, no breathing, cold skin.... Ugh. I didn't bother to finish the book. XD;

Oooh. Sounds like it'll be really nice by the time I get there! >3 But bleh @ the temperature being so high! So not right. **kicks the high energy prices!**

Awesome! I'm looking forward to them. ^^

Oh wow, what a creepy-sounding book! o.o Definitely good that things were put into a realistic perspective, though. Vampirism is way too romanticized. One thing about Hellsing is that it depicts Alucard's longing to just be human again, in spite of all the powers he has and the fact that he seems to enjoy using them.

**nodnod.** I definitely hope it will be! X3 **kicks the prices too!**

Yep, creepy, and really depressing. XD; It gets rather tiring that it's so romanticized. Honestly, would anyone really want an eternal unlife of drinking other people's blood? Bleh. XD; Besides, werewolves are just so much cooler than vampires, anyway. XD And that's good about Alucard really wanting to be human! I kinda wondered about that. **always kinda thought of him as the bad guy.**

**nodnod.** Twilight kind of has that, from the vampires' perspectives, but it's ruined by Bella romanticizing it. -.-

Alucard is ... well, he's definitely a monster, but he's meant to be the protoganist. XD The Neo Nazis are the bad guys.

...I think I'm the only one twitching over the weather on the other end of the spectrum. ^_^;; We've had a few 90-degree days, but most of the summer has been uncharacteristically chilly. Granted I like being able to go outside and not catch fire, but I haven't worn my adorable tanktop pajamas all summer!

...ditto on not wanting to be bitten by a vampire. The sun hurts my eyes enough as it is. XD

Bleh. XD; Why can't there be a happy medium?
