Hey, that was fun. XD I was going to use Evanescence, but I got stumped on the first question, since I can't think of any song where they have a feminine pronoun in the title.
How do you like my poor, angsty, unconscious Alister icon? I made this one myself, using a couple of lines from Somewhere I Belong, which is one of the ultimate biker songs. X3
I've seen the fourth, first, and fifth Star Trek movies now. XD Mom likes the fourth one the best. It's the one about the whales. I liked it okay, but it somehow just didn't seem as deep as the others. Also, with the fourth movie, they cranked the swearing up a notch, and then cranked it a couple more for the fifth movie. XD; But I really enjoyed the depth of the fifth movie. It dealt basically with how easily one can be deceived by the Devil. Very, very interesting. And oh! I must paraphrase some awesome dialogue near the end:
Kirk: I lost a brother once . . . but I got him back again.
McCoy: I thought you said that people like us didn't have families.
Kirk: Well . . . I was wrong.
**SQUEAL!** Kirk was referring to Spock. I adore the friendship cuteness content of those Star Trek movies. XD I wonder if the original TV show had it a lot. . . . And there were other kewl parts, too, like where, when Kirk was getting frustrated over certain events and snapping at Spock, McCoy was the one who stood up for him. McCoy's the doctor guy who is always arguing with Spock. XD I love their friendship too.
Oh yeah, and I liked the first movie too, but it confused me in some places. I think the original TV show must have had an official farewell episode or something, so it would all make sense in the first movie. The first movie's big emphasis was on how logic and knowledge aren't enough and that emotions and loved ones help make people complete. ^___^ **cuddles it.**
And I saw a really awesome movie a little while ago! It was called Beyond Tomorrow and it's really old. Black and white old. XD; But it was so good! It was about these three men who died in an airplane crash and their spirits come back to help their loved ones. =3 It was really great. I bet that there's lots of little-known movie gems like that.
Oh! I finally got the first chapter of Candy Clouds up. I'm so proud! It was kicking around on the computer since September until I got this recent burst of plot inspiration. XD;
And WOW. I was online much too long earlier. **smiles.** But I was having such a grand old time with my RPs that I hated to get off. I was doing a really long and fun one with someone I haven't talked to in ages. And dang, she plays a good Valon! I was amazed. XD I've been very happy to talk to her again and to do an RP with the bikers, as I'd been wanting to do.
The RP with Aubrie was really good too. **nodnod.** It went on for only about an hour or so less than the longest one did. (Well, of course that person was gone for about two hours while I was on, so it wasn't as if we were RPing straight through from when I came on to when I got off.) Alister and Valon were both mind-controlled and were dueling each other (though we didn't play out the full duel, of course). In the end, Alister was chained like Mai was at the end of her duel with Yami M and Valon was calling out the final attack, but he broke free of the control and ran and took the blast for Alister. Awww. Then it seemed as if both of them had been killed, but then Alister woke up and Valon did too, a bit later. ^^ Raphael and Aubrie's OC, Tazi, were both relieved. ^___^ So was Liu, the cat. 'Twas cuteness!

Date: 2005-02-10 11:19 pm (UTC)I think the longest I've ever RPed was eight straight hours...no dueling in that, though. Just abuse. ^_^; Sometimes I think the only way to properly RP a duel would be to simulate the involved characters' decks and actually play a duel while RPing...but...that would be a pain. Fun for unpredictable outcomes, though...
Mah, now you've made me want to watch the Mai vs. Malik duel again, but my DVD player is all set up for the end of Doom...
