You know, it's terrible. I cannot make my mind fully comprehend that Zoisite from Sailor Moon is a man. In the dub, Zoisite is a woman, but even in the original, Zoisite seems like one. **is purposely avoiding writing gender pronouns as she speaks about the character.** The character design, the behavior, the cherry blossom petals. . . . And yes, yes, I know Zoisite is gay in the original. XD; But I mean . . . Zoisite is not really built like a man, and the character design even includes longish eyelashes. And the voice doesn't sound terribly masculine, even though I'm pretty sure it is a man doing the voice in the original. I'm afraid I'll always think of Zoisite as a woman, at least where the anime's concerned. I don't know whether this is how I'd feel if I'd watched the Japanese from the start or not. But . . . I kinda wouldn't be surprised. I dunno, being a woman actually seems to suit anime Zoisite pretty well. **thinks of how vengeful Zoisite got toward Neflyte.** Hell hath no fury and all that.... Not that Neflyte scorned Zoisite in *that* way (not at all!), but I guess Zoisite did feel scorned when Neflyte was assigned to get the Silver Crystal when that had been Zoisite's assignment.

I finished Candy Clouds! ^^ It ended a bit different than even I was expecting, but it's still leading up to what I have planned for the final part of the trilogy, Purple Skies. It seems unreal that Candy Clouds is finally over. I'm not sure I fully believe it yet. It took me a year and a half to do that one. XD

Hamda told me about her favorite Detective Conan episodes, which are 34 and 35, the two-parter about the sadistic bandaged killer at large. I went and watched them on YouTube, and I got inspired to do another story. XD Now I wanna see how Gin and Vodka would react in such a situation. I dunno, I really don't think even Gin would be so sadistic as to chop up bodies like that. He seems to like to shoot to kill and be done with it.

And now, an opening blurb:

XD I finally figured out a big reason why I'm in love with the possibility of the Gin/Sherry relationship. It's because it has so many parallels with the Yami B/Kythiopia relationship that Des and I had in our RP. Those RPs with Des were the first big YGO ones I had, and Kythiopia just rocks in a way that I can never adequately express. Sherry/Ai Haibara reminds me so much of her. She's so cold and tough, yet still fragile at times.

And all evening and night I've been working on chapter 2 of Getting Away with Murder, and it's finally done. W00t! Most of it is a conversation between Baby Face and Kaitou Kid that sets up the mystery they have to solve. At the end I tacked on a scene with Gin and Vodka stealing the corpse from the morgue. XD It amused me terribly.

I also finally finished chapter 11 of Candy Clouds. Can't remember if I mentioned that yet. Now I only have chapter 12 before I move on to Purple Skies. And at some point in that, I must use Dante's Prayer! I swear, it's one of the most beautiful songs ever. I'm considering using that as the very last song, to end the trilogy.

I'm so relieved and pleased, I finally got a couple of reviews for my random one-shot. XD They're apparently from the two people who run the little Black Organization C2 community at FF.net. They both think that I got Gin and Vodka in character, and one of them said that they don't normally read any stories about events that have already taken place in the series, but they made an exception for mine, and they added it to the C2 community. ^^ I'm glad to finally have some feedback from people in the DC fandom, though of course I greatly appreciate all the reviews I get.

I've been poking around Janime's again. Curiosity finally got the best of me after Airtos sent me the new links. I like the new style of the place. Overall, things seem pretty much the same. I try to stay out of the places where idiots especially like to go, and it seems to go okay. XD I'm using one of the Gin/Sherry icons Aubrie made, and I made a random banner using the first verse and chorus of Getting Away with Murder. I think I did that largely to tease the owner of the Detective Conan club there. She doesn't like Gin, and she's very opinionated and snobby. She looks down on anyone who can't afford cable or who doesn't agree with her views.

It looks like this will be the last night spent in this house where there's some sense of normalicy. My brother's coming over tomorrow and helping us move out the big stuff, so it's going to be a big and busy day. I'll try to get the computer set up as soon as possible, as well as the TV/VCR/DVD player. XD I'll put up the computer before I do anything else in my room.

And I must say, I adore The Devil and Peter Tork! Doing a Faust-type episode was a stroke of brilliance, and the Monkees pulled it off without going OOC. I think that episode had just the right amount of drama to keep the show IC, and I love the part where they call the Devil to the witness stand and Davy asks him to raise his right hand and lay his left hand on the Bible. The Devil's response? "You must be joking." Maybe I'll watch it again tonight. XD

The best season 2 episodes seem to be the ones that were left over from season 1. The Devil and Peter Tork is one of those, and there's nine others, I think. The Monkees Blow Their Minds is another, and It's a Nice Place to Visit, which, BTW, was another stroke of Monkee brilliance. XD They got in trouble in Mexico because Davy fell in love with a local bandit's girlfriend, so the bandits kidnapped him and the other three Monkees disguised themselves as bandits to come rescue him. Then, after their ruse was discovered, the lead bandit challenged Micky to a duel. LOL.

... I think the way you can tell if a season 2 episode is left over from season 1 is that Micky's hair will be wavyish and fluffy instead of curly. XD

I finally finished chapter 10 of Candy Clouds. I'm very proud of it. ^^ Hopefully I'll get a chance to work on chapter 11 before too long. Getting everything moved in will take a lot of time, though I do plan to find time to talk to people. ^^ And I need to find out the dimensions of my Doom poster so I can frame it. XD I also bought a B&W Monkees picture off eBay to hang up.

Boxsets

I've been looking at the Monkees season boxsets on eBay and trying to determine if there's any way I can get at least one. XD; I want them so bad. I wanted the old VHS boxset when it was out and it was too much for me, and I've wanted the DVD sets ever since they were released a couple of years ago. I know I really shouldn't try to get one, but they are definitely cheaper on eBay than in retail stores, and I've wanted them for so many years. . . . I really do think it would be worth the money, it's just a matter of if I really have that money to spare.

EDIT: I had to do it. XD; Since I've wanted them for six years, I think I'm entitled to finally have them. **pets them.**

And I'm steadily moving along reading Heir to the Empire. It's absolutely awesome so far, and I love the way Timothy Zahn writes the characters. The movie ones seem to be perfectly in character, and the new ones he's introducing are very intriguing indeed. Right now I really don't like Mara Jade, though. XD; She seems to be an angry, bitter, she-dog all the time. If she's mad thinking that Luke did something to someone she cared about, that's one thing and I could empathize with her. But if she's just all whiny because the Emperor is dead and she can't be his precious servant or whatever she was before, then I think she's pathetic. And at this point I don't get how she ever comes to love Luke so much that she actually marries him.

Candy Clouds chapter 10 is almost done. ^^ There's just a few more pages to go, if I can concentrate long enough. XD; Not only am I all psyched about the Monkees, but things are going to be really busy around here for the next couple of weeks.

I now have chapter eight of Candy Clouds finished. ^^ I'm quite pleased with it. There's a conversation between two of the villians, which isn't something I usually do, and Valon's frustrated because he's all mixed up. I decided not to have him end up completely brainwashed, as originally planned. Instead he's really confused and is having trouble sorting out what's real and what's not.

And we've almost seen all of season 2 of the X-Files now. ^^ Overall, I like season 1 better, but my current favorite episode, One Breath, is from season 2. It was so awesome. XD It played out like one of my stories. So much hurt/comfort, and supernaturalness, and friendship cuteness....

Let's see. . . . If I were to pick my favorite episodes so far, they would probably be:

-The Pilot
-Shadows (Haunted?)
-Beyond the Sea
-The Erlenmeyer Flask
-One Breath

Annnd something else that I'm forgetting. XD;

One thing I absolutely adore about the X-Files is that it has heart, and meaningful characters. Over time you really get attached to those characters. I think Chris Carter was pretty arrogant to think that the X-Files could just go on and be a smash-hit no matter who was starring in it. The show finally failed after nine seasons because of changes in the main cast. It seemed like it ended on a rather depressing note, too, from what I've heard.

I do have a question, though: Who on the writing team is the big Scully h/c fan? XD She has gotten into so much trouble in season 2. It seems like they can't get enough of putting her in danger. Does that continue into other seasons as well? It seems to me that the situations should be spread evenly between her and Mulder. Maybe there were lots of incidents of Scully in danger from season 1 as well, but it didn't seem as noticeable. XD; After her abduction experience in season 2, it seems that having her get into more trouble almost immediately is overkill.

And another question: What were the writers on when they wrote some of those? XD The last episode we saw last night was the one where they were on the ship stuck in the "time warp." That episode was definitely WTH material. And I don't even get how the doctors got them back to normal! Nothing made sense in that one. -.-; Oh how I despise things where people are forced unnaturally into something like aging.

This has been a productive weekend. Candy Clouds called to me and I answered, and wrote two chapters. Of course, I had two scenes already written for chapter 6, but still it was a lot of writing to get done in such a short amount of time. The songs for the chapters were "The Mummer's Dance" and "Jillian," respectively. And another character got involved. XD;

On Sunday evening our next-door neighbor came over with a belated holiday present: a chocolate chip nut bread for the family, and a little plush ladybug for me. ^^ I told her a couple of years back that I like ladybugs, and she's given me some ladybug related things since then. This plushie is so cute! I didn't even know they made ladybug plushies, though I did see a ladybug pillow at Wal-Mart. I think my plushie is much cuter than the pillow, though. XD

And dang. . . . Siegfried, that scoundrel. He intrigues me so much. I was trying to write up a piece in my essay about why that is, but I don't think it's coming out right. I have trouble putting it into words without it looking silly. He just seems so real to me, and I wonder if part of the reason for that is because he doesn't use magic and isn't connected with it in any way. I don't relate well to magic, so maybe Siegfried's use of technology and him not having a past life makes him someone I can relate to better. I think overall, he and Alister are the two characters I relate to most. I like to say that Siegfried is a jerk and stubborn as a jackass (meaning the animal and not an idiot), but not a demon.

Also, I keep being fascinated by having Siegfried interact with Tazi. XD I wonder what Tazi really thinks of him. I can see how she seems to feel on the surface, and it looks like she dislikes him even more than Yaminah does, but I wonder what she actually thinks. Siegfried keeps showing her different sides of his personality, and I think she's getting confused. XD One night he gets her out of a skyscraper that's burning (in an attempt to do a Towering Inferno RP), and then a couple of days later he ends up dying from poisoning and his spirit hangs around Tazi that night because she's the only one who can hear him. He's rather sad and melancholy for some of that time (he's worried about Leonhard), even though he also teases her a great deal. He likes to tease her, because he knows she'll react. XD Mina he doesn't tease, because he can see that she's more quiet and tolerant, and he probably likes her better, too. He's more willing to drop his facade around her.

I also started a Dartz one-shot. The idea has come to me several times, but never as strongly as now. This is one of those things that must be written. But I don't want to say what it's about until I see how it's coming. Suffice it to say, I think my idea is quite original. It involves one of the adventures Dartz had while wandering all over Earth for ten thousand years.

.... WTH?

Mistaken Identity )

There's more to the article, but I dunno if I should put up the whole thing. XD; It's from CompuServe News, so I can't link it up either. But OY. Just OY. As the policeman said at the end of the article, "Four people were going to lose their lives over some cheese." .__. And the woman even said that if there were any kids old enough to testify in the house, they would have to be killed. Can you imagine such sheer idiocy? **flicks the woman.** Woman, what a laugh. More like an immature child. No wait. That's an insult to the child. -.-;

In other news, I finally have a song for chapter five of Candy Clouds and I started writing it! The lucky winner is The Mummers' Dance by Lorena McKennit. (Did I spell that right?)

I also made this icon, inspired by a conversation with Lisa. XD

And we watched The Towering Inferno, which is one of the most gripping, intense, and heartrending movies I've seen. It's right up there with The Poseidon Adventure and The Day After Tomorrow. It reminded me of a similar story idea I had a few months back. I didn't do anything with it because I wasn't sure how it would be received, but now I'm starting to consider writing it.

XD

Look at this icon. I love it so much. I'll probably use it whenever I have idiots to rant about. XD I got the idea when I watched Siegfried cream Joey yesterday morning and noticed his expression in this shot. Then I ranted about past idiots I've known to Kerri and decided that I really wanted to make this icon. EDIT: Took that one down and put up a new version, which is hopefully easier to read. XD; The new version is the one you now see.

Also yesterday morning I watched the DuckTales episode Maid of the Myth. It sounded hilarious from the case, where Mrs. Beakley's opera debut ends up causing a Viking invasion. LOL. And guess what she was singing? Ride of the Valkyries. Though she just had to go "lalalala," instead of using actual words. So then the Vikings invaded and kidnapped her, thinking that she was the legendary Brunnhilde. Scrooge, the nephews, Webby, and Launchpad went to get her back and they ended up out by Greenland. (Launchpad: Boy, Greenland isn't very green, is it?) They find a small haven surrounded by ice where the Vikings have preserved their culture for all these centuries. XD Then they can't get away until they go through with a chariot race. Launchpad is supposed to do it, but he loses his voice and can't call commands to the rams, so Mrs. Beakley has to take over. At one point the cheating opponent has a bridge cut down after he goes across. Then he arrogantly blows his horn to announce he's going to win. A piece of ice falls down from above the bridge. Mrs. Beakley wonders what her singing would do, if a horn blowing in the distance could break a piece of ice off. So then she sings and brings the whole ice wall down and she crosses over on that. XD

All in all, it was quite amusing. I was afraid, when they found the Viking hideout, that it would be another dumb episode like Launchpad's Civil War, but it wasn't. It was great, and I loved the little references to Norse mythology. ^^

The reason why I don't like Launchpad's Civil War is because it's ridiculous. Mainly, the part where he finds Civil War soldiers still alive in a cave 120+ years after the Civil War! .__. And no, there was no Fountain of Youth stuff. It was just an absurd plot device. DuckTales does take place in modern times (or at least, modern for when it was done). They have color TV, and in later episodes, computers. So even though the Scrooge character created in the forties or so went on adventures in that time period, the DuckTales version is obviously not in the same timeframe, therefore making the Civil War thing absolutely appalling. The Viking thing was excusable, because they had been secretly living and well, reproducing through the centuries in that haven. It wasn't that they were the same ones from a millennia ago.

I wish I could think of a good song for chapter 5 of Candy Clouds. XD; Maybe I'd better just start writing it and do the song later. I've noticed that whenever I finish a big epic fic, I often wind up with a form of writer's block afterwards, especially if I'm supposed to create a sequel/follow-up. I certainly hope that won't happen with Engel des Todes. I've been planning it for so long. I started thinking of it around the time when I began LATT. And since Engel is going to be the annual holiday fic, I really can't afford writer's block. ^^;

LOL. The Grinch song came on the radio. XD I love the lines about spiders in his brain and termites in his smile, but the whole song is great, especially when I'm already giggly about poking fun at idiots.

I've been pondering over why Grand Prix and the manga Dungeon Dice arc appeal to me so much. I think one reason may be that the antagonists didn't have any magic to fight with and so they instead fought with technology and games, which is more plausible in real life. As much as I love the supernatural stuff, I like a little break from it now and then. XD; And I like how they show that even those fighting without magic can be formidable opponents. Plus, the overall feeling of the arcs kinda reminds me of how the RPs on that forum are. ^^

I finally got chapter 4 of Candy Clouds done! I'm proud of it. I inserted some little references to Norse mythology and such. When I was collecting names for Paper Flowers, I looked though these old cards I have from a game called Wyvern. It seems to be a mixture of mythological and fairy tale type things from all different cultures, so I picked out lots of the various names to use. Actually, I don't think it was originally in Paper Flowers, but in the Sonic the Hedgehog story that used the Geates' Talisman thing first. Then, when I wanted something for Paper Flowers, I decided to draw on the legends and characters that I'd already created before.

I have this strong urge to go write a blurb that I thought up a couple of weeks ago and which has come back to bug me again. XD;

EDIT, 5 HOURS LATER: I present a blurb! I'm surprised I actually managed to write all this in one sitting. I think I got the idea for it from watching the last episodes of Noa's Arc last week. **tries to refrain from writing K instead of C.**

BTW, when addressing Siegfried, is one supposed to say "Mr. Von Schroider" or just "Mr. Schroider"? I've always been puzzled over that. XD; **looks in Darcy's general direction for an answer.**

Candy Clouds is back in business! (I hope.) Chapter 3 is revised and posted. Now I just need to go over what I have written of chapter 4 and then finish it. XD And then continue from there.

And I just love the forum RP that I'm involved with. We started a masquerade ball topic and it's just great. It's light and fun while not being stupid. Everyone seems to be in character, and it's lots of fun trying to guess who's who. Yugi was just exposed, and I was surprised. Serenity and Joey have also been revealed, but I figured out long ago who they were, because of the hints that people dropped. The bikers haven't appeared, because I can't imagine them going to a masquerade. XD; But some other characters I play dropped in. One of them got mischievous and conspired with what ever character is playing Jack Sparrow in order to scare people during some ghost stories. **smirk.** I think most people have figured out who he is by now, but he still hasn't officially stated his identity. He is masquerading as a musketeer.

There's an interesting new member in the Hellsing club I'm in. He/she wrote a couple of essays, one on Iscariot and one on Hellsing. Well, thanks to the detailed info about Enrico Maxwell from later manga volumes, I no longer like him. XD I also don't like the author's view on Alucard, though. He/she seems to find him rather uninteresting and just brands him as being completely bad. Now, of course we know that he has monstrous tendancies, but that's not all he is. Heck, he's one of the most intriguing and deep characters in the thing. Eh, I think pretty much everyone is a lot deeper than they may appear.

Heh. . . . This song I've got on repeat certainly brings back memories. I still enjoy the All Dogs Go to Heaven fandom, and Killer was always my favorite. ^^ It's him and Itchy singing this song. XD It was from an episode of the TV show that focused on them. It's amusing how there's lots of jokes and references in this song that kids likely wouldn't get. A lot of American shows do that, I think, in order to attract older viewers as well.

EDIT: Get it while it's still good. XD (The link lasts a week.) http://s4.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=0ZRLEPA9KBWUI0DP2YWQ9NC8XI Deceiver of Fools, courtesy of Stacey's Mother Earth album! =3 **pets song.**

Also, does anyone else notice how the animators can't decide how long Siegfried's hair should be? XD; **has been looking at screengrabs from the last YGO episode.** In them, where he and Leonhard are talking to Pegasus, his hair comes down his back, but stops short of his hips. It does that during the Grand Prix, too, but in other scenes it goes down about another foot or so (at least eight inches more). **giggles.** The first time we saw him, when he got out of the bathtub, it was the latter, so that's how I always draw it and picture it.

And now. I need sleep, as evidenced by my giggling fits. XD

^___^!

I had a great weekend. And now I'm all fired up and ready to face the week! I feel like I've been recharged. And I'm highly confident that my Alister plushie will arrive in the next day or two. **virtually cuddles it.** It's so cute! I adore it! They already have the picture up on the website. ^^ http://www.fortunecity.com/business/johns/1394 Click Jupiter once you're on the main page. From there, you'll find the plushies. They also have Valon now. ^^

I also had a very strange dream about me being at the Orichalcos temple, only it was a house and I was a random fangirl. XD; I spied on the bikers as they left and then got chased around the place by Dartz. O__o;;;

It's hard to know exactly what I think of Dartz. . . . I don't hate him by any means, but what he did to the bikers was atrocious and abominable. However, if he was really Spoiler )

I do know one thing for sure: thanks to playing Enya's music on the piano, I now have new plot twists for Candy Clouds! Dartz will be in it and he'll be more or less a schizophreniac. o.o; Spoiler ) He'll be working with some of the rebels, probably, but he'll also be wanting to help the good guys. It will be really intense and interesting.

And here's a blurb I wrote over the weekend, based on a couple of RP scenes with Aubrie. XD;

How amusing. XD I actually share Mint's birthday, too, I found out. She's really a lot better in the manga than the anime. ^^ I'm actually liking the manga in general more than the anime. **nodnod.** And I think Pai isn't so creepy and harsh in the manga, if I'm understanding things correctly. I need to find out for sure. In the anime, however, he Spoiler ) I don't think he does that in the manga.

Earlier today I was feeling really weary. I'm not sure why that was. Maybe it was all the math I'd been doing. Blah.

Here's good news: Not only have I finished my Valon fic, but Candy Clouds has been moving again! I expect to have the next chapter up in a day or two. I need to find a good song. . . .

I have an urge to see Endless Waltz again, especially since I was dreaming about it earlier. Maybe I'll watch that this morning. Or maybe I'll try to finish the Candy Clouds chapter. **shrugs.**

My thoughts are really random and disjointed this morning. . . .

XD;

Ho hum. . . . So tired. . . . I fell asleep on the bed earlier and didn't hear Dad calling me to come in for prayer. XD; I don't think I'll stay online very long. . . . We're planning to definitely go out somewhere later today. ^^ Maybe I'll find something cool to buy. I have a coupon for Borders. And I wanna go to Media Play, but I'd settle for Best Buy. They have a great anime selection.

We've been playing the Anime Letter game at Indepth Anime. ^^ I always enjoy that. Sometimes my brain goes out the window when I get assigned a letter, though, and I can't for the life of me think of a good character to do. Then later it's like DUH! In your face! and I'm like . . . I can't believe I didn't think of that. . . . XD; That's like when I got assigned O and I couldn't come up with anything until it hit me that I could do Odion. That never occured to me because I call him Rishid (though I have nothing against the name Odion).

I can't believe it now happened again, twice, in rapid succession. o__o; I was assigned the letter R, but I had R last time, so I thought that maybe R should be given to someone else. Only I must admit that if I'd really been thinking, I would have clung to that R. LOL. In the next round I have been given V. I looked at that blankly for a minute and was like, Okay . . . V . . . Vivian Wong (who I know nothing about. Heh)? Then it's like HELLO! You can do Valon! I am so absentminded sometimes it's disgusting.

I suggested a new topic for Indepth Anime for when the next round finishes up: Which character in all of anime do you consider the most complex? If that idea is accepted, then I already know exactly which character I'd write about. ^^ I think Raphael is the most complex character from YGO, and indeed, from any anime show I've seen. =3 **cuddles him.** I love that guy.

I hope I'm not falling into another writing slump. . . . The mystery fic has been progressing very slowly and it's even worse with Candy Clouds. Then there's a one-shot that's going nowhere. XD; So frustrating. . . .
ladybug_archive: (allmale)
XD; My mom gets cold so easily. . . . So then the heat goes on and I am soon roasting. Even in the basement it gets too hot.

I'm working on my Valon h/c one-shot fic, but it's moving very slowly. I wish I could get more of a move-on with Candy Clouds. Maybe if I watched Magic Knight Rayearth I'd have more inspiration for it. ^^; I hope it isn't going to take me a million months to finish the Valon fic, like it did with the Duke fic. (Even as it is, I've never been too pleased with the Duke fic. I kinda wanna go back and change some stuff and add some stuff and such.)

Rockman.EXE: Axess is interesting so far. It seems kinda dull when compared to the normal series, though the action picked up in today's episode with Megaman and Roll fighting Flashman. I bet things will get a lot better and darker after Protoman is taken over by the Dark Chip. And I may be in the minority, but I'm actually not a big fan of the whole Cross-Fusion thing. XD; I dunno . . . I don't want to say it's weird exactly (though it kinda is). . . . I just don't care for it. It would be much cooler if Megaman and the other Navis just appeared in the real world along with their enemies and Cross-Fusion wasn't needed.

The RP at Janime's forums is great so far. XD I get to play all of the bikers, which I normally wouldn't like doing since I like having someone to play off of, but since no one else auditioned for them, I decided to take them all so they'd all for certain be in the story. ^^; Can't only have one or two of them being there, after all! That would ruin everything. I'm as protective and obsessive over these guys as I am over the Ishtars. XD Down with biker romances and all that crap! They don't need it! They're a family unit that can survive perfectly well without romance! **Ahem.** Anyway. . . .

Mom's birthday is Saturday. That means that Dad and I will need to go shopping tomorrow. ^^ We'll probably only wind up downtown, though. . . . **wants to go to the Brickyard area and Media Play.** I'm not sure what to get Mom yet. XD; **thinks.**

Crimes for Christmas is finished! And the girl who was being rude apologized. XD; I'm really proud of the end result of this fic. But now I can't decide whether to write chapter 2 of Candy Clouds, begin the next mystery fic, or if I should just rest for the morning and continue reading old RPs. I've been reading ones with Aubrie, mainly the amnesiac Alister arc. XD; I loved that.

We went out earlier today to visit my brother and his wife and their son. He's just over a year old now and so cute! ^^ He's started to walk without grabbing onto people and things for assistance. And he liked the buttons on my coat. XD

Afterwards I went to Big Lots to get my tapes. Weirdly, they're selling them without wrappers at the moment. O__o But of course I bought them anyway. I must have them to record the rest of Doom Orichalcos arc! (And everything that comes after that, of course.) And they had Sonic X figures there! ^__^ I was able to get Knuckles as a belated Valentine's Day present. XD I always wanted Sonic figures and never could figure out why I couldn't ever find them. Then, when they did the Sonic Adventure figures, I tried to get Knuckles and had the KB people put one on hold for me. But then when I went in to get it, it somehow wasn't there. O__o It was all very strange. **pats new Knuckles figure.** I want to go back to Big Lots soon and get Sonic and Tails. The other characters they've released now are Big the Cat and Eggman (neither of whom I've very interested in, though I am one of the few people who actually likes Big). I wonder why they didn't make Amy Rose and Rouge. . . .

When we got back, I got to RP with Aubrie and SK. ^^ With Aubrie there was both intense and amusing stuff with Yaminah and Runihura. XD With SK we were continuing something similar to my Evil Experiment fic, only this time Portman got Valon. It was sad. ;__; Aww. But Alister and Raphael came to save him! ^O^ Cuteness! **cuddles the cuteness.**

And I am starting to get a bit concerned about someone. . . . She vanished right in the middle of something we were doing and I haven't seen her anywhere since---not on MSN, Yahoo, or here. That was a couple of days ago now. Maybe her network card thing fell out too, since that's what happened to JP when he vanished that same way. XD;

Blah. . . . **stretches.** For the last few days I haven't stayed on in the mornings as long as I have been doing. But that's because I'm getting restless and wanting to watch stuff. XD; Really, the only time I have when I can watch things in peace is in the early morning hours like this. And sometimes I really get tired of not watching anything because I'm staying on for hours in the morning. It's true that sometimes I'd prefer to stay online for whatever reasons---wanting to talk to people or wanting to get a chapter or a story done---but other times I just wanna get off before all of the early morning is gone. XD;

You know, it's really hard to think of situations for Raphael hurt/comfort. XD; Those reading my Doom works have probably noticed that Raphael has not wound up in trouble yet. This has been intentional. He's so big and tough that it seems most ordinary methods of h/c wouldn't work for him, at least not as well as for the other two. But for Candy Clouds, I figured out something that could maybe happen to him. o.o Here's the aftermath of the battle scene, when they found Valon is missing. This is only a first draft, so probably when it gets into the fic, there'll be some more details here and there.

Hey, that was fun. XD I was going to use Evanescence, but I got stumped on the first question, since I can't think of any song where they have a feminine pronoun in the title.

How do you like my poor, angsty, unconscious Alister icon? I made this one myself, using a couple of lines from Somewhere I Belong, which is one of the ultimate biker songs. X3

I've seen the fourth, first, and fifth Star Trek movies now. XD Mom likes the fourth one the best. It's the one about the whales. I liked it okay, but it somehow just didn't seem as deep as the others. Also, with the fourth movie, they cranked the swearing up a notch, and then cranked it a couple more for the fifth movie. XD; But I really enjoyed the depth of the fifth movie. It dealt basically with how easily one can be deceived by the Devil. Very, very interesting. And oh! I must paraphrase some awesome dialogue near the end:

Kirk: I lost a brother once . . . but I got him back again.

McCoy: I thought you said that people like us didn't have families.

Kirk: Well . . . I was wrong.

**SQUEAL!** Kirk was referring to Spock. I adore the friendship cuteness content of those Star Trek movies. XD I wonder if the original TV show had it a lot. . . . And there were other kewl parts, too, like where, when Kirk was getting frustrated over certain events and snapping at Spock, McCoy was the one who stood up for him. McCoy's the doctor guy who is always arguing with Spock. XD I love their friendship too.

Oh yeah, and I liked the first movie too, but it confused me in some places. I think the original TV show must have had an official farewell episode or something, so it would all make sense in the first movie. The first movie's big emphasis was on how logic and knowledge aren't enough and that emotions and loved ones help make people complete. ^___^ **cuddles it.**

And I saw a really awesome movie a little while ago! It was called Beyond Tomorrow and it's really old. Black and white old. XD; But it was so good! It was about these three men who died in an airplane crash and their spirits come back to help their loved ones. =3 It was really great. I bet that there's lots of little-known movie gems like that.

Oh! I finally got the first chapter of Candy Clouds up. I'm so proud! It was kicking around on the computer since September until I got this recent burst of plot inspiration. XD;

And WOW. I was online much too long earlier. **smiles.** But I was having such a grand old time with my RPs that I hated to get off. I was doing a really long and fun one with someone I haven't talked to in ages. And dang, she plays a good Valon! I was amazed. XD I've been very happy to talk to her again and to do an RP with the bikers, as I'd been wanting to do.

The RP with Aubrie was really good too. **nodnod.** It went on for only about an hour or so less than the longest one did. (Well, of course that person was gone for about two hours while I was on, so it wasn't as if we were RPing straight through from when I came on to when I got off.) Alister and Valon were both mind-controlled and were dueling each other (though we didn't play out the full duel, of course). In the end, Alister was chained like Mai was at the end of her duel with Yami M and Valon was calling out the final attack, but he broke free of the control and ran and took the blast for Alister. Awww. Then it seemed as if both of them had been killed, but then Alister woke up and Valon did too, a bit later. ^^ Raphael and Aubrie's OC, Tazi, were both relieved. ^___^ So was Liu, the cat. 'Twas cuteness!
