Just when I thought people couldn't get any more stupid....

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - In an unusual case of mistaken identity, a woman who thought a block of white cheese was cocaine is charged with trying to hire a hit man to rob and kill four men. The woman also was mistaken about the hit man. He turned out to be an undercover police officer.

Jessica Sandy Booth, 18, was arrested over the weekend and remains in jail with bond set at $1 million on four charges of attempted murder and four counts of soliciting a murder.

According to police, Booth was in the Memphis home of the four intended victims last week when she mistook a block of queso fresco cheese for cocaine - inspiring the idea to hire someone to break into the home, take the drugs, and kill the men.

There's more to the article, but I dunno if I should put up the whole thing. XD; It's from CompuServe News, so I can't link it up either. But OY. Just OY. As the policeman said at the end of the article, "Four people were going to lose their lives over some cheese." .__. And the woman even said that if there were any kids old enough to testify in the house, they would have to be killed. Can you imagine such sheer idiocy? **flicks the woman.** Woman, what a laugh. More like an immature child. No wait. That's an insult to the child. -.-;

In other news, I finally have a song for chapter five of Candy Clouds and I started writing it! The lucky winner is The Mummers' Dance by Lorena McKennit. (Did I spell that right?)

I also made this icon, inspired by a conversation with Lisa. XD

And we watched The Towering Inferno, which is one of the most gripping, intense, and heartrending movies I've seen. It's right up there with The Poseidon Adventure and The Day After Tomorrow. It reminded me of a similar story idea I had a few months back. I didn't do anything with it because I wasn't sure how it would be received, but now I'm starting to consider writing it.

...*laughs very much at that*

...oh, man, can you imagine what would've happened if she'd actually gotten ahold of the ominous white block, and tried to snort it?

I think I'll make myself some garlic toast with melted crack for lunch.

Goodness! What is it with people these days? Trying to hire someone because a group of guys have a block of cheese that gets mistaken for drugs. *shakes head* Idiocy, pure and simple.

Psycho artichoke head! I love it!

BEHOLD THE POWER OF CHEESE.

That reminds me of the time somebody put a bag of cocaine on eBay for $200 - until the feds saw it and the guy had to take it down. I also seem to remember a bag of cocaine being mistaken for anthrax spores (which makes more sense than cheese, because both are white powder).
