I've been pondering over why Grand Prix and the manga Dungeon Dice arc appeal to me so much. I think one reason may be that the antagonists didn't have any magic to fight with and so they instead fought with technology and games, which is more plausible in real life. As much as I love the supernatural stuff, I like a little break from it now and then. XD; And I like how they show that even those fighting without magic can be formidable opponents. Plus, the overall feeling of the arcs kinda reminds me of how the RPs on that forum are. ^^
I finally got chapter 4 of Candy Clouds done! I'm proud of it. I inserted some little references to Norse mythology and such. When I was collecting names for Paper Flowers, I looked though these old cards I have from a game called Wyvern. It seems to be a mixture of mythological and fairy tale type things from all different cultures, so I picked out lots of the various names to use. Actually, I don't think it was originally in Paper Flowers, but in the Sonic the Hedgehog story that used the Geates' Talisman thing first. Then, when I wanted something for Paper Flowers, I decided to draw on the legends and characters that I'd already created before.
I have this strong urge to go write a blurb that I thought up a couple of weeks ago and which has come back to bug me again. XD;
EDIT, 5 HOURS LATER: I present a blurb! I'm surprised I actually managed to write all this in one sitting. I think I got the idea for it from watching the last episodes of Noa's Arc last week. **tries to refrain from writing K instead of C.**
( Escape )
BTW, when addressing Siegfried, is one supposed to say "Mr. Von Schroider" or just "Mr. Schroider"? I've always been puzzled over that. XD; **looks in Darcy's general direction for an answer.**
