I think I like German rock. XD **pets the song that she's again got on repeat.** I'm already starting to pick up the phrases to sing along.
I showed the lyrics to Darcy earlier and she had fun translating them. ^^ Then I asked her about the pronounciation of "Leonhard" and she said it's probably like you'd pronounce "Leonard", but then she said that it's probably not that "Len-ard" pronounciation and instead is "Le-on-ard" or even "Lé-on-ard," with the first syllable being pronounced like the first syllable of Téa's name. She said the last pronounciation is the most likely. ^^ I hope that's correct, because that sounds so pretty. I always hated the "Len-ard" pronounciation, but I love the others. Ten to one the dub uses "Len-ard," though.
I worked a bit more on my Hellsing/Mayberry crossover. I like the conversation I wrote in between Alucard and Seras as they arrive. XD And now I've switched to a scene where Integral is pondering over the strange case and wondering if Iscariot is going to get involved. Mayberry will never be the same!
This week seemed to go by pretty quickly. ^^ I'm glad of that. Now Saturday is finally almost here! Fox's new season starts this weekend, and of course we get two new YGOs. X3
I don't think I'll be here on Saturday evening, unless I come on after, perhaps, ten my time. Dad has some free tickets to a classical music concert and I'll be going with him to that. I'd tell whose music they're playing, but I can't remember how to spell their names. XD;
EDIT: I finished reading volume 3 of Hellsing and now I'm almost done with volume 4. Schuldinger's kinda a cute little guy. XD; Those kitty ears look so soft and velvety. . . . That seemed kinda mean for them to shoot him in that one part. o.o He wasn't doing anything, and he's just a kid. Or at least, he physical looks like one. ^^; **figures looks are no guarantee of age.** What happens to him in later volumes, I wonder. . . .

Date: 2005-09-09 03:56 pm (UTC)I'm curious to see how Darcy translated it! I have a rough translation on disc somewhere that I did via the Dictionary.com's translator. I might go and do it again on AltaVista Babelfish 'cause I think they're a bit more accurate. The song is a very intriguing one, and I remember when I first translated it, it was nothing like I expected.
Yaaay, I was pronouncing it right then! XP Guess all the learning of German lyrics is pay off.
This certainly will be an interesting crossover. LOL **suddenly has the image of Anderson going down the town square quoting verses then suddenly going psycho as he tends to do so**
The week went by very quickly, thank goodness. Especially with the memories of last week. Ah the advantages of viral bacteria attacking your already weak immune system . . .
Shrodinger is cute. LOL There was a debate for the longest time whether or not he was a werewolf or catboy. Yaaay! It's a Neko!! Frankly, I was a bit amused when they blew his head off, only because he came back later though. My first thoughts were "Awww . . . kitty go bye bye?" Shrodinger is rather a messenger of sorts . . . It's intriguing. And his name is hilarious if you know about the scientist.

Date: 2005-09-10 12:12 am (UTC)I'll send you Darcy's version of the translation. ^^ There were a couple of lines she wasn't sure on, but she got most of it.
LOL. I can picture that very easily. **will have to look through the Bible for some good verses.** Imagine, scripture studying for a Hellsing story. XD;
XD Yeah, I read that debate and the thing someone posted about the scientist. It seems pretty obvious that he's a kitty-boy instead of a werewolf. Does he turn up in later volumes, and if so, is he still alive in the series right now?

Date: 2005-09-10 12:14 am (UTC)Yep, he's still alive and kickin'. It'll take a lot more than blowing off a head to kill Shrodinger.
