I know he gets accused a lot of being an L rip-off, or people just dislike him because he isn't L, or people don't like some of the decisions he makes, but I always have liked him. Maybe I wouldn't if I read Death Note again, I don't know. But to my way of thinking, that series is pretty much filled with characters who have many flaws. And Near's apparently didn't rub me the wrong way and I like him in spite of them.

Reading the transcript is nothing compared to the elation of watching it. And don't worry, no real Crisis Core spoilers. If you've seen me on MSN/read Triplicate, the subject discussed won't be surprising. I think I posted the transcript in here a while back, too.

Aubrie was talking about 3 Doors Down's song When I'm Gone, in relation to the great Death Note characters Matt and Mello, and that got me to look up the lyrics again. X3 It's still as great as ever, and now it's making me think of both Sephiroths, and my timelines with them.

I started working on the FF7 ficlit where Sephiroth is conscious on the operating table while they're "installing" the wing. Owww. @___@ I was trying to figure out how they would do that, and I was reading some stuff on the nervous system. I don't imagine I'd be able to go into any great detail, with my limited medical knowledge ~~and the fact that no one goes around sticking wings in people's backs!~~, but the scientists are talking about what they're doing, and Seph is describing what it feels like.

For the KH fic, if I do it, it will probably be more emotional torture than physical, as 1wngdngl suggested. I have a very clear image in my mind of KH Seph chained to the wall, kneeling on the floor with a sheet around him. And whatever I do, he cannot be as messed up as Gin was in Breakdown. XD; **doesn't feel like repeating that storyline.** As one of the main reasons it stalled is because I didn't know how much more I could tell about the recovery process. And yet jumping ahead to Gin trying to go back on the job seemed too much of a leap at that point.

So KH Seph will probably only have been gone for a few days. Though that's still plenty of time to get messed up, he'll probably be relatively okay because, well, he's Seph. XD And he's always been sane, unlike his counterpart. Though sane FF7 Seph, if taken the same way, would probably have the same high endurance....

Now I must get some sleep instead of continuing this ramble. XD

I finally took out a claim at

13_fears, or rather, two claims. XD I took KH Sephiroth and Alister. I got the idea to write some short fics about Alister taking place during Doom Arc, and exploring the darker parts of his personality. I got the first one done, and I have some ideas for other ones. I'll definitely be touching on his impersonation of Pegasus, and that will be fun. XD

Mello was probably part of the inspiration. He's gotten my interest in Alister rekindled. Something about his passionate/emotional personality, seeking vengeance, and wearing belly shirts, reminds me of Alister. I actually wanted to do something again with Alister's LJ, but I forgot the password. XD; And looking over some of those old entries, I think that if I want to try writing for him in first person again, I'll just get another journal for him and start over, even if I remember the password.

And, on to the original point of this post. This is my platonic experimentation with

1sentence's Gamma set. Too much fun to practice with. X3

I wanted to do the list with Sephiroth and Cloud, FF7 versions. After I did a few, I discovered I wanted to do a list with the KH versions. Lisa suggested I split the Gamma set in half between them, and I did start to do that, but then my mind insisted I stick with the FF7 versions. So I may do another set for KH later. There's still two tables I haven't ever tried, and I still don't like the Alpha set ~~and it would probably bomb if I tried to use it platonically. XD;~~, but I do like the other one.

Anyway, so these sentences range from taking place during Twilight and Dawn, Sunrise and Midnight, and post-S&M. In my mind, I imagine most of the business-related ones taking place post-S&M, since they keep the company. So, I probably wouldn't have wanted to officially claim this, anyway, since most of it is a canon that currently exists in my head, in private RPs, and in LJ blurbs. XD
