Writer's Block: Single pride day

As stated before, I love the holiday, but not the "Woe is me!" feeling people seem to have if there's no significant other for them to be with. I will celebrate being single, perhaps by writing a platonic squee fic! And CHOCOLATE! And plushies old and (I hope) new! The girls updated their site this weekend---a good sign.

There admittedly are some couples I'd like to write fic for, such as Hikaru/Lantis from Magic Knight Rayearth, but I just never have any ideas. And of course, platonic fics interest me much more anyway. X3

And I was a little annoyed with my school newspaper for saying not to give anyone chocolate on Valentine's Day. Fools!

The problem is, thinking of a plot. XD; **though keeps thinking of something with Bakura's nightmarish experience at a school dance with all the girls cooing over him and fighting wanting to dance with him.** And he runs home to Yami Bakura in horror, LOL.

XD Yeah, I don't understand the "Woe is me" feeling. I mean, if you have someone, you have someone, and if not, you always have your friends or family! I've always gotten some chocolates from my family, and very occasionally someone will give me flowers, which is always a nice surprise. And I've occasionally given chocolates or Valentines to my friends.

Actually, I never found Valentine's Day to be very romantic at all. XD It always brings to mind decorating fun little containers with hearts at school, and then bringing in little Valentines with candy and handing them out to everyone. X3 **always loved that.** So it was really more of a friendship holiday decorated with pink and red and white hearts. XD

So I say we should celebrate Friendship Day instead! X3

**nodnod.** Totally! It's so not the end of the world if you don't have a significant other on Valentine's. There's so much one is missing out on if it's only thought of like that!

A platonic Valentine's would be awesome! X3 I heard that in Japan on Valentine's, girls sometimes give friendship chocolate to each other.
