I forgot to copy over more than the questions I was given, but you guys have done a million of these, right? If you want five questions, say so, I give them, and you post in your journals.

1) KH Zack, Cloud, and Seph vs FFVII Zack, Cloud, and Seph-- which verse is your favorite to write for and why? You know, I've debated this question with myself a lot. As I recall from when I mused on it in past entries, KH is fun because less is known and you can make up more, but FF7 is fun because it's the original and so much *is* established already to work with. I think I tentatively concluded I preferred KH, but I think now I prefer FF7. Kaze's story could be an influence on that decision, as well as the role-plays I've done, but in any case I really love the darkness of FF7 and all the various established angles. With the Compilation, there's so much to work with. Of course, KH is pretty dark too, but there's not a lot of information on their versions of the characters.
2) How did you get into Princess Tutu? I saw the DVDs at Media Play (yes, it was still Media Play then) and was somewhat intrigued, but the concept of the Prince losing his heart scared me away. Later, Stacey and Elora both got into the show and showed me the infamous Hall Om Mig AMV. I watched, was immediately hooked, and ordered the first DVD from the library. I loved it so much, I couldn't wait for any more to arrive. I watched the entire rest of both seasons on YouTube over two evenings. I've been a fan since then and have been in the comm, but I never really felt confident in the fanworks part of the fandom until I could finally get the DVDs and watch and rewatch to my heart's content. I don't often connect with characters well enough to write for them, so discovering I actually could with the Tutu characters was a big thrill.
3) Your favorite characters in YGO have changed throughout the years-- but which one will forever hold the #1 spot and why? Honestly, I don't think anyone does. XD; My #1 spot changes with the favorite characters. For a long time I tried to insist Yugi was my #1, but I finally conceded that Seto had beaten him. But then Marik beat Seto, and there was Alister, and Siegfried. I dunno, I'm back and forth on Seto, but I really don't like him as much as I used to. He drives me crazy in Battle City. The coliseum thing really made me headdesk. But of course Seto has awesome moments all along too, mostly in the anime-only arcs and in R. He was really good in Duelist Kingdom too, though. At the moment, I'd tentatively say Duke is my favorite, but he doesn't hold the #1 spot overall. I dunno, I guess if it wasn't for Battle City, Seto really could be my #1, and heck, maybe deep down he really still is.
4) Which of your OCs is your favorite to write for? Alexander. He's positively adorable. A child in a man's body, he's both innocent and introspective. I really would like to get my novel done; there'd be so much about him that would get fleshed out.
5) What is your favorite episode(s)/moment(s) of WITWICS? The Boll Weevil Retrieval is my favorite episode. Kneemoi is AWESOME and then there's the crazy anvil nonsense. But my favorite moment is Zombie Jamboree in The Costume Caper.

3. I don't know how closely you've been following it, but you mentioned it semi-recently, so What do you think of the recent twists in xxxHolic?

4. You mentioned being fascinated by addictions/risk-taking behaviors in characters. Do you have one addiction that you prefer over the others, and if so, why that one? (**is assuming here that your favorite is smoking, judging from the number of smoking characters you have, but isn't sure.**)

My favorite YGO character has never changed, but my close-seconds have changed over the years. Seto has always been my favorite, but Yami Bakura and Duke grew on me a lot over time. My sister's favorite used to fluctuate from week to week, though. One week, she actually liked Tristan the best, haha! XD

As for Seto in Battle City ... I didn't really like the Battle Tower battles at all, if that's what you were referring to by the coliseum. But I liked Seto for the most part in Battle City/Battle Ship.

Yami Bakura and Duke are both awesome. And I do like Tristan a lot, though I don't think he's ever climbed up that far. LOL.

When I said "coliseum", I meant it literally. Seto having him and Yugi fight in a simulated colisuem just seemed so blatantly conceited/desperate. And it can't be argued it was the dub's fault there.

Seto does have cool moments in Battle City; his best was during Yugi and Joey's duel, both anime and manga versions. And it's true that the Alcatraz duels weren't as good as Battle Ship, but I did adore the Ishtar sibling stuff. X3

My answer to the first question: FF7=materia. 'Nuff said. XD Just kidding, though I have to say I do prefer FF7 myself, just because it's so much more familiar to me than KH, having never actually played KH. The whole Heartless thing is rather foreign to me, LOL. But I've definitely loved your KH fics, and the whole backstory you've developed with KH Seph and Zack and everyone is awesome. X3 I can't help but believe that it must be true. LOL, I have to pinch myself sometimes - I can't believe I'm actually writing FF7 fics! And wow, it's actually surpassed the word count of my other, previously longest fic, and I'm not even half done. o.o

Was that the AMV you showed me? I think that's what got me into it too. XD

I think my favorite was always Yugi. But Seto and Yami were always so awesome. >3

Yes, you should get your novel done! Alexander is so cute. X3

I'm not sure I could say which is my favorite WITWICS episode, having not been able to keep everything straight in my head. XD;

I do love my KH backstory, but now it likely unfortunately will be rendered non-canon with the appearance of KH Zack in one of the prequels. But I'm anxious to get to know the canon KH Zack. X3

Yeah, I really have no idea how old he is.... I'm so horrible at telling age. XD; I probably picked thirteen since that's when Zack joined SOLDIER, and I'd love to see some official canon stuff about him when he was that age. XD

Darkness in FFVII is definitely intriguing. X3

(Media Play? What is it now?) Yeah, watching and rewatching is the best way to get fanwork confidence. XD **remembered that she had to watch a good number of season 6 eps before she felt confident enough to write for Baker in HH**

Intriguing about the YGO characters. X3 I don't think I've changed Seto being my favorite, though I have learned to appreciate other characters. I honestly doubt that I would've come to appreciate Yami B and the bikers if it hadn't been for your fics...

Yessss.... **hugs Boll Weevil and the Zombie Jamboree performance** I think my favorite ep is Taking of the Shrew, though-- that was an *incredible* series opener. But Boll Weevil isn't too far behind. X3

It's an amazing and very dark series, but there's always hope portrayed as well.

F.Y.E. Not as good as Media Play.

Sometimes it helps, but when the problem is that you just can't think of any plots, you've got a problem. That's why I haven't ever been able to write for Gundam Wing or Magic Knight Rayearth or Gensomaden Saiyuki.

I do have that streak that likes a good villain, and Yami Bakura definitely qualified. Then of course I quickly became intrigued by the thought of him maybe liking Ryou Bakura. And the bikers I was always intrigued by.

FF7 ftw ^o^ Sephiroth basically exists in KH to give Cloud something to do, so naturally they left all the details to the players. Fun.
